Famori is an AI family assistant that helps families manage everyday life, built by Iris Tech Enterprise in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We help families manage schedules, reminders, meals, fitness, and daily coordination through natural conversation.
Why we built Famori
Every family runs on invisible work. Who's picking up the kids? Did Dad take his meds? What's for dinner? When is the dentist? These micro-decisions add up to what researchers call the "mental load" — and it usually falls on one person.
Famori was born from that frustration. Our founder, Zee, is a mother who spent years juggling schedules, meal planning, medication reminders, and school events across WhatsApp messages, Notes apps, and shared calendars. None of them talked to each other. None of them remembered anything.
So she built Famori: an AI assistant, not one more app to keep on top of. Famori does the remembering and the chasing so you don't have to. Use it in the web app, and over WhatsApp too — just tell Famori what you need, the way you'd tell a family member.
The team
Iris Tech is a small technology company based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We're a team of engineers, designers, and parents who build tools that make family life simpler.
Most of us have kids. We use Famori ourselves - to coordinate school pickups, track medications for elderly parents, plan meals, and keep everyone on the same page. We built it for our families first, and now we're sharing it with yours.
Zee

Mother, engineer, and the person who got tired of coordinating family logistics across three different group chats. Zee founded Iris Tech in 2024 to build practical AI tools for real families. She's based in Kuala Lumpur and believes the best family tools are the ones you don't have to think about using.

What we believe
Privacy first
Family data is sensitive. It's encrypted in transit and stored on SOC 2-certified infrastructure with encryption at rest. We auto-delete transient data after 7 days and never use your data to train AI models. We comply with Malaysia's PDPA and follow GDPR principles.

Use Famori in the web app on any device, or over WhatsApp if you'd rather just chat — your choice. Either way, it's the same assistant working for your whole family.

Compliance & security
Famori is operated by Iris Tech Enterprise under Malaysian law. We comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and follow GDPR data protection principles for international users.
When you use the optional WhatsApp add-on, messages are transmitted via the WhatsApp Business API, which encrypts messages in transit. At rest, your data is stored on SOC 2-certified infrastructure with encryption at the storage layer. Transient message data is automatically deleted after 7 days.
